Accompanying persons' programme

The Regional Conference for the Americas: ”Maritime and Port Sectors in the Americas: Challenges and opportunities in light of the SDGs"
will welcome distinguished guests and their accompanying persons, who will be able to rely on the conference organisers to make this an unforgettable experience owing to Peru’s warm welcome and cultural richness.

We aim to bring you an activity program that is both rich and interesting, including excursions to the historic sites of Lima, where you will be able to visit the majestic sites representing our colonial heritage as well as important buildings representing contemporary Peru.  The tours will include visits to museums and galleries exhibiting some of the artistic trends of Peru’s plastic movement as well as landmarks of great heritage value.

For those among our visitors who enjoy arts and crafts and wish to purchase locally made souvenirs, we’ll be visiting the Inca Market.
For the seekers of shopping opportunities, the program includes visits to charming shopping centres where you’ll find plenty of inspiration for unique souvenirs and presents.

The city of Lima offers spectacular views and surprising culinary treats you should make a point not to miss.
Two days in Lima are a good start on your visit to one of the most colourful and energetic countries in this region.
